LEGO Friends, City, Star Wars Advent Calendar Day Ten Review.

We are now at Day 10 of our Advent Calendars. We got some neat things today. With everyone in a better mood this morning we open our doors with renewed enthusiasm. Let take a quick look at the contents of Day 10.

Chloe was extremely excited to see this accessory pack today! Chloe went on to say that she can now make her Mini-dolls look pretty.

Well I guess yesterdays build was a lead up to today's reveal. Now Chloe has someplace to store all those accessory's. Even if it is a bit full. By adding the previous day's builds, its starting to look really cool.

In my City Calendar I was able to build a female Firefighter! Such a big smile on her. She has a single side face print, printing on both sides of her torso and printed legs. A great looking Minifigure! She also comes with a sausage on a fork and a yellow fire extinguisher.

Some very generous spares today! 2 extra sausages! (awesome!)  and enough parts to build an extra fire extinguisher.

It was so funny seeing how Jaspa reacted today. As soon as he opened his door he yelled out STAR WARS!! as he was jumping up and down. He loves his Clone Troopers as much as his daddy does. The Trooper is pretty common with printing on both sides of his torso. Face printing on one side and printing on his helmet.

Today was a good day, much better then yesterday. We were all happy with what we got. I can add a few sausages to my table from Day 7. Jaspa has another cool Clone Trooper to add to his collection, and Chloe gets to start dressing up her Mini-dolls with hair bows and flowers... in the lead up to Christmas.

That's it for Day Ten folks.

Thank you for dropping by. See you tomorrow!

  1. Just a thought on the overfull accessories box, are a lot of those pieces spares, but you've got no way to tell? I'd guess the 5 pieces down the right hand side are all only meant to be in there once and you've got a spare of each one, plus maybe two of the bows. In fact, looking again now I've said that maybe you're only meant to have one of each item.
I'm enjoying the countdown by the way, you're the only three-in-one review going this year that I've found, it's nice seeing the pics each day and getting a little bit about the reactions. :)
Alan. (I'm zipsforbananas on Brickset by the way, I saw your link on Huw's review, and he listed you a few days later too.)

    1. Hey mate! I Saw your comment on Brickset about the Gunship this morning. :) Thanks for the mention! I appreciate it!
In Regards to the Friends accessories, the picture on the door shows the exact same amount that is in my photo. I don't know if you are supposed to just add one of each, it really doesn't show it. It just shows all of them. Up to the user, I guess :) But as far as whats in my photo and whats on the inside of the door, there are no spares. I'm glad you are enjoying the countdown and liking the reactions from my children. sometimes it's hard to do... being so early in the morning lol.
I missed that Huw listed my site...That's awesome! I will have to go find it! :)
His photos are light years better them my attempts but I try.
Thank you for taking the time to comment... It means a lot!

  2. No worries. If the door showed them all I guess they are all meant to be in there. 'Twas just a thought I had, especially as the couple of pet polybags I've got came with more spare bows than the set was meant to have.
Huw listed four or so countdowns to check out as he wasn't doing a full rundown, I think it was on CapnRex's review the first day that Huw didn't do one, and yours was first on the list. (I was already following though after your own post at the start.)

I should also 'fess up before you stumble upon it - I mentioned you on the day Huw showed the stands with the perfume on too... The first stand was meant to have the perfume bottles from the day after it on, and you only seemed to notice when the next day had a stand too, which I guess the tray of food was meant for. I hope I wasn't too harsh! Still, either way you beat Heartlake Friends who didn't figure any of it out, not even what the bottles were!! ;)

    1. ha ha yeah I spotted that comment... all good... I was meant to write it into the review but over looked it. I was meant to retake the photo too but doing all three and Jaspa running around the house kind of distracted me. No harm. Sometimes I just want to get them up ASAP and I forget to go into more detail... (if there is any to go into it) lol. Most mornings I try to take the photos before dropping Chloe off to school then come back and write the review so things do get over look... I will try harder ;D

    2. Oh you've got more than enough excuses for missing a few details! And I only see this when I get up hours after you being a Pommie, so I wouldn't mind if you took longer to get round to it. ;P

  3. Hello there can I just say I'm really enjoying the Lego advent aswell because I have my own! Also just wanted to say that you don't have to use the small block as a stool because infact u can slot the hair brush, comb, mirror and hair dryer info each of the holes which means that the other bigger box thing doesn't look so full x just thought I'd let u know :)
