This morning was a lot more relaxed then the previous days. We all had plenty of time to get dressed and each grab our Calendars, open the doors and reveal today's goodies! I even had time to take the photos for this review before the morning school run.
It seems the Christmas spirit is coming out as street decorations are beginning to appear on the light poles, and tonight we have Chloe's School Christmas concert and picnic (weather pending). But she is pumped up about it and so are we!
Chloe absolutely loved today's build! It is such a cute little scene. It's only 4 pieces but... wow how adorable is it? A small pine tree, a baby Deer on a bed of "snow". As far as I can tell it looks like It's the same Deer that's in 41023: Fawn's Forest. Chloe is rapt to have another one to her ever growing collection of cute animals.

Well... Today I got 2 Yellow coffee mugs a pie and a stand to sit them on. 1 for the boy and 1 for the... snow man...? nah! I'm guessing that we'll probably get another Minifigure tomorrow? You got to love the pie piece yeah? We need more like it! Maybe a chocolate covered one or one with sprinkles, so more variations please LEGO. :-D

You have no idea how excited Jaspa was when he opened door number 4! He loves Santa and he loves Troopers and today's build was perfect! It's as if it was meant just for him. He couldn't get it out of the bag quick enough. I don't think it's coffee in his Red mug, He looks to grumpy for the festive season, too much eggnog I think. Or maybe he is upset that he lost his helmet, who knows.
Overall both kiddies loved what they got today! They couldn't be happier. Mine was not as exciting as what the kids got but I am really happy with the pie.

I'm enjoying your reviews/thoughts on the Advent Calendars! I've also been documenting my thoughts (but I only have the City calendar). I've also tried hard to avoid all "spoilers" of what lies inside the Advent Calendar but I think you are correct in that we are due for another minifigure soon! http://playingwithbricks.blogspot.com/
