LEGO 41040: Friends, 60063: City, 75056: Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar, Day Five Review.

Welcome back for Day 5 of our Advent Calendar Reviews.

These Advent Calendars have truly made an impact on our kids daily routine. It's the first thing on their minds when they wake up. Not a "good morning dad" or a "do I have to get up? I dont want to get up" It's more like "Can we open our calendars now?". It's great to see how enthusiastic they are about these tiny little builds.
So what did we get today?

Day 5 for Chloe got herself a neat little stall. A perfect winter holiday scene comes with a snow covered roof, Pearl Gold lattice inside a Brown window frame and a decorative Christmas wreath just below it. All the parts that were used in today's build, would fit in perfectly with any of the Winter Village sets that have been released so far including the bonus freebies from S@H.

Spares for today.

I was right! Today we did get a minifigure, a female one in a Green overalls torso print holding a single croissant. The overalls I feel are way too over used in the Christmas theme sets and I think they need to change it up a bit. Why not just reverse the colours like Red overalls over a Green torso? I do however like the Hair piece, it just looks so elegant with the long ponytail.

Behind door number 5... Jaspa got a gun-rack (two days earlier than last year) The rack holds 1 medium size blaster, 1 Large sized blaster and a Episode 3 Clone Trooper Helmet. The Helmet is meant to go with yesterdays grumpy Trooper. Maybe it might cheer him up?

Chloe really enjoyed building her small set today. She was coming up with all sorts of ideas as to what she could use it for.
Jaspa loves blasters as much, if not more then last year. He is quite content to lay out his collection of blasters in a single line. It keeps him quite. :-)

That's it for Day 5 of the Advent Calendar reviews. Thank you for dropping by and check in again with us tomorrow to see what little goodies we get to build. :-)

Tan Tile signing out! See you all tomorrow!

    1. The easiest way to explain it is, there is a recess in the center that's at the bottom of the croissant. Place it over the hand like you would, if you were placing it on a "Jumper Plate". Hope that helps..:-)
