Now luckily Ty had pre ordered the second game at a different store the same day as the one mentioned above and was able to secure me, my Iron Patriot Minifig. Yesterday I received all three items. Today we will have a closer look at the Minifigure!
Note: All photo's can be clicked on for a larger view.
Here we have all three items. But we are just going to have a look at Iron Patriot.
You have most likely seen this image a thousand times by now, here it is anyway.
A look at the back.
All the pieces to build Iron Patriot are loose in the polybag. Except for the helmet which I believe is produced in China, hence the little plastic bag.
All the pieces lined up. 22 pieces all up. Some will be spares
A quick look at the instructions. Yep it pretty straight forward.
The Iron Patriot Minifigure has the same printing as his War Machine suit, only its a change in the color scheme. He has a printed torso both front and back. a double sided face print and printing on the legs and helmet.
A close up of the gun mounting system.
All done! front view.
Back view.
The spare parts. Enough to make a second shoulder gun.
This is a great Minifigure! One that is needed to to complete the collection Iron Man suits. A bit of a let down that it is only available with the game and that it was limited in numbers. In a way it would have been nice to have it be available in the DVD/BD release like they have done with the Hobbit film and a few of the Star Wars and Batman Lego films. They are a bit pricey to buy on ebay and Bricklink but if you really want it and need it to complete your collection I would say... get it before it goes up to even more insane prices.
Thank you again to the CFS team. You rock!
Thanks again for reading and I hope you enjoyed this review!
As always and if you want too, let us know in the comments below, what you think of the set. I would love to hear others opinions on it.
Until next time this is Tan Tile...
