LEGO unveils set 10244: Fairground Mixer at Sydney Brick Show.

LEGO today unveiled at the Syndey Brick Show their new CREATOR Expert set: 10244 Fairground Mixer. This new set will be available through LEGO Shop@Home from the beginning of June.

Apparently this will also be available In-Store in Australia around September as a David Jones Exclusive.

Beauty and the Geek Australia are Looking for a LEGO Fan... Is it You?

Sydney-siders To Help Build World's Largest Darth Vader Model from LEGO bricks

OBN were contacted to let you fellow LEGO fans that this upcoming May the 4th weekend, Star Wars and LEGO fans alike are invited to come together and celebrate the world of LEGO Star Wars with a building event like no other.  Over the course of the Saturday May 3rd and Sunday May 4th, US LEGO Master Builder, Dan Steininger, will Join Australia¹s own LEGO Certified Professional, Ryan McNaught, and with the help of YOU will attempt a world first - the largest model of Darth Vader made from LEGO bricks, standing at close to 4m in height and made over a quarter of a million LEGO bricks.

LEGO® Master Builder Calls On Sydney-siders To Help Build World¹s Largest Darth Vader Model from LEGO Bricks
 
This May the 4th weekend, Jedi and LEGO® fans alike are invited to come together and celebrate the world of LEGO® Star WarsTM with a building event like no other.
 
US LEGO Master Builder, Dan Steininger, will land in Sydney to join Australia¹s own LEGO Certified Professional, Ryan McNaught, in an attempt to build the world¹s largest model of Darth Vader from LEGO bricks.
 
Taking place at Westfield Penrith from Saturday May 3rd to Sunday May 4th, Dan and Ryan will be calling on members of the public to help them build the huge model of Darth Vader. Set to scale at close to 4m in height and using more than a quarter of a million LEGO bricks, the model will be one of the biggest ever seen in Australia.
 
But the fun doesn¹t stop there, as fans will be invited to choose their side, like Anakin, as Dan and Ryan also build a giant model of the Jedi Grand Master himself, Yoda, made from LEGO bricks, standing over 2m in height.
 
In addition, there will be exciting new sets from the extensive LEGO Star Wars range on display. Over the two days, there will also be Star Wars trivia and LEGO speed building challenges offering plenty of prizes for everyone.
 
So come dressed as your favourite Star Wars character for the chance to win a LEGO Star Wars goodie bag, or just bring the power of the Force with you to join in on all the funÅ  and May the 4th be with you!
 
WHAT:                         LEGO Star Wars Building Challenge

WHY:                           To celebrate Star Wars day (May the 4th) and the launch of the 2014 LEGO Star Wars collection, LEGO fans of all ages have the chance to assist in the building of a giant model of the Dark Leader Darth Vader and the Jedi Grand Master himself, Yoda.
